Our story from Café Art to MY WORLD

Forty-seven photographers with lived experience of homelessness were given single-use film cameras free of charge on July 17, 2026.

From these images we publish calendars and cards which we sell with people who are homeless or recently homeless in Elizabeth line train stations, office buildings and Spitalfields market.

The profits go to the photographers who are affected by homelessness, with a goal of £25,000 to by paid out be the end of the project.

Photography Mentoring with the RPS

MY WORLD's Café Art RPS Photography Mentoring Group is an extension of our MyLondon project/ competition and is run by volunteers of the Royal Photography Society (RPS).

Participants of the annual MYLONDON contest are asked to join the group after the annual contest. It uses digital cameras and the goal is to provide more in-depth training of photography.

Participants are taught how to use digital SLR cameras, composition, lighting as well as fortnightly photography tours.
