Photographers affected by homelessness: some personal stories


Paul Ryan, London

Paul would be a regular trustee of the charity while continuing to be a director of Café Art (UK) Community Interest Company and running MyLondon in the second half of 2021.

Michael Wong, London

Michael would continue to be a director of Café Art and continue to be a contact person for many London partners.

Rick Henderson, London

Rick is the CEO of Homeless Link, Café Art’s official nominated charity (as a CIC)

Mathew Diamond, Toronto

Mathew brought the project to Canada and was integral in setting up MyToronto with Ve’ahavta. He has visited London several times, including to the inaugural meeting in December 2018 and to visit Fujifilm UK in July 2019.

Martin Copeland, Toronto

Martin Copeland, TorontoMartin has been active in the training of MyToronto participants in selling and entrepreneurship. He came to both the December 2018 meeting in London and the Fujifilm meeting in July 2019.

Michael Allwright, Sydney

Michael Allwright, SydneyMichael was the founder of MySydney in 2015 and has run the project there since then. He was at the December 2018 meeting and also visited Fujifilm head office in July 2018.

Katrina Treacy, London

Katrina Treacy is the customer service manager for TfL Rail in London (this will soon be the Elizabeth Line when it opens soon). In 2019 and early 2020 her team helped Café Art sell thousands of calendars in several major London stations, including Liverpool Street Station, Paddington Station and Ealing Broadway Station. During the Covid-19 lockdown she organised deliveries of food to vulnerable people in East London.
