We at Cafe Art are excited to announce a fundraising event for our new MyWorld charity.
We have been given the restaurant of The Corner Hotel, London on Thursday 29 June, 2023.
The goal of the event is to raise money for the new MyWorld Creative Projects charity which has been set up to help new photography projects like MYLONDON.
Since 2013 MYLONDON has helped introduce photography to hundreds of people in London who are affected by homelessness. The project, involving the distribution of 100 Fujifilm QuickSnap cameras to people with lived experience of homelessness, has also raised thousands of pounds for the participants involved who earn money from prize money but also from selling the annual MYLONDON calendar and greetings cards.
Event: Welcome to MyWorld
The event will include entertainment, an auction, a silent auction and raffles. The goal is to raise money for MyWorld, including helping Pehchan run MYMUMBAI in Mumbai in September. Fujifilm have already donated 100 Fujifilm QuickSnap cameras for the project. Pehchan and Cafe Art have worked together before on the This Is Where I Live international homeless art exchange.

Cafe Art has been based at The Corner Hotel since it opened as the Qbic Hotel in November 2014. The hotel has two stairwells filled with MYLONDON photos and Cafe Art paintings.
